die:mischabatterie in the news

Die:mischbatterie, a studio run by German producer Stephan Zeh, has finished a huge installation centered on a refurbished old Neve console. The renovation took nearly two years to complete due to the studio's tight schedule.

die:mischabatterie received almost 200 meters of Blue Series 8, 16, and 24 pair analogue audio multicores from Avitech, a Van Damme distributor based in Vienna.

“We restored a vintage Neve 8068, customised it, did a new patch and altered the internal wiring. In the process of finishing the desk and exchanging the desk in the control room we had to redo the whole infrastructure of the die:mischbatterie. This has been done exclusively with Van Damme multicores.”
